Ten types to start from

Six presets start from a look: Latina, Asian, Ebony, blonde, redhead and brunette. Four start from a style: goth and alt, fitness, curvy, glam. Every one has its own page with its models, a short description of the type, and a button that opens the studio with the settings of one of them. Some combinations come up again and again, such as a curvy Latina or a glam blonde, and the presets make those quick.

Which preset for which mood

Presets are about more than hair colour. The Latina models lean warm and flirtatious, from a wedding photographer to a window stylist in New York. The Asian preset brings a quiet analyst, a pastry chef and a bartender with a sleeve tattoo. Goth and alt means tattoos, piercings and a sharp tongue. Fitness means early alarms, competition and a lot of energy. Glam means lashes, gloss, heels and a night out. Pick the type that matches the evenings you want, then adjust the details.

How a preset fills the studio

Use this type copies one model's settings: her background and skin, figure, hair, eye colour, makeup, ink and piercings, her personality, your relationship and how you met. The studio opens at the first step with everything chosen, so you can walk through and change only what you want. Nothing is locked; a preset is a suggestion, not a template you are stuck with.

Presets and models

Every model belongs to at least one preset and many to two or three. That is deliberate: a type is easier to picture with real examples. Open a preset to see who is in it, open a model to see her photos and settings, or skip both and design from an empty studio.
