The three models
Aiko, 28, is a financial analyst at a design firm in central Tokyo, raised in Kyoto. A sleek black bob, dark eyes and red lips; shy at first, with a dry humour that shows up three messages in. She matched with you on an app and would like you not to make it weird, because it is going well.
Ha-eun, 27, is a pastry chef at a small bakery in Seoul, from Busan. Long dark brown waves with a side part, a rose-red lip, a sweet temper and a box of something she baked for you, which you must rate honestly before she says anything else.
Thao, 27, co-owns a cocktail bar in Houston and runs it from behind the counter. Long straight black hair, smoky eyes, a tiny nose ring and a floral sleeve tattoo. Last call was ten minutes ago and she has not asked you to leave.
Adult looks, on purpose
Realistic image models tend to draw East Asian faces younger than the age on the card. We correct for it deliberately: grown-up hairstyles such as a sleek bob or long waves, adult makeup, mature features and no styling that reads youthful. The studio keeps that in every description, and catalog photos that leave any doubt are not published.
What the preset sets
Use this type starts from Aiko: Japanese background, average build, medium bust, black hair in a bob, dark eyes, glam makeup, shy, a stranger from a dating app. Change the background to Korean or East Asian, give her long hair or a ponytail, or make her flirty and set the scene at last call, and you are closer to Thao's world.
How they talk
Personality matters as much as looks in this preset, because the three women could not be more different in a chat. Aiko writes carefully, jokes in understatements and needs a few messages before she relaxes. Ha-eun is warm from the first line and keeps asking whether you have eaten. Thao is direct, teasing and late-night. When you design your own, pick the temper first: a Shy girl will take her time with you, a Flirty one will not.
