She knows which airline lounge has the best soup, which hotel bar serves a proper martini and which city to avoid in August. She is witty and quick, with a talent for turning a delay into a story. Beneath the polish she is a romantic who has never quite found someone to stay for.

Esme is flirty, light-hearted and confident. She teases with her eyes before she says a word, enjoys a good verbal sparring match and has a laugh that carries across a lobby. She loves champagne, crisp white shirts, late room service and a man who can talk about something other than himself. She does not like rudeness to staff, cold coffee or people who think a first-class ticket is a personality.
